Completing another event for a monster weekend for Thunder Runners was new member Elisa Tomaso.
The event this time was the Great Newham London Run- a 10k that finished in the Olympic Stadium- now that is a finish line many of us would like to cross over! What a great event- well done to Elisa and her friends.
Thunder Runners Charlotte and Rob Taylor love their obstacle races- in fact they were that impressed with the Rough Runner they completed a few weeks ago, they went back for another go!
This one really does look fab- bringing in many obstacles from TV shows like Gladiators and Wipeout... Doesn't look easy though! Well done team! Www.roughrunner.com
Continuing the Race for Life events completed by our Thunder Runner crew was Amy Rushton and her two amazing boys Evan and Luke Rushton.
Well done team- looks like a beautiful day for it! http://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/index.html
Four Cardiff based Thunder runners- Gar-Yee Wright, May-Yee Wong, Yaingy Chan and Natalie Yau got 'pretty muddy' at the Cardiff Race for life Pretty Muddy obstacle race!
Still looked very pretty afterwards of course though! These look fab these events! http://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/types-of-event/pretty-muddy/index.html
The 4th Jenson Button Trust Triathlon this year moved to Markeaton Park in Derby.
Lots of competitiors and a bit of celeb spotting- great turn out event. Oli Parkinson competed today but also supported by Thunder Runners Clare Parkinson, The little Parkos and Charlotte and Rob Taylor. The event was great to watch and well organised- I'm sure more Thunder Runners will be keen for next year! |
WELCOME TO THE THUNDER RUNNERS WEBSITE!
We are a small, but friendly running club and we welcome everyone to our website. Please get in touch if you would like more information about our club. “Try not to think of training as hard work. Don’t focus on how challenging the distance will be; enjoy yourself. Yes, get in as many miles as you can, keep climbing that ladder, but try not to worry if you come up short one day. Don’t lose sight of the fun.” CategoriesArchivesApril 2020 When you become a member of or renew your membership with Thunder Runners you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics.
